I forget what hourly rate we were using... but say with a total commitment of
20 hours/wk * $100/hr
*12 weeks for Q4 (yes, we're already in it)
If we did a fundraiser for $24000, I think we could get the Kata and Dojo sites to a point where people could create/manage/fund their learning projects and produce (and also fund) their own Dojo sessions. From that point on it should realistic to manage (and fund) the program without increasing the time/budget requirements.
Again, I think a fundraiser could be successful... especially if the entire team (even if not much time could be committed) was listed.
Couple notes (which will probably be good to log when the documentation site is up) -
There is an editor role that 'should' give end users/artists just enough privileges to set up their site. Surely there's a way to have that be the 'default' role, but until I figure out how (is that something I need to do in openproducer.install or something like that?), I'm setting that up manually.
So if you login as artist/artist, you'll get the end user experience. admin/changeme if you want admin.
As promised, I was going to spin up an OpenProducer site for Christian. For some reason the task never executed and I'm realizing that this is not unique.
