I noticed you put in some content a little while ago. As an end user/musician, what are your initial thoughts? Obviously there needs to be some documentation.... which hopefully I'll get working on soon.
Per various chats, and texts with Ben, I have been tasked to "find volunteers for a committee which will be responsible for the Snowball effort on the same model as the DOLI fiscal sponsorship agreement". This is because "People who give a damn is in the process of rebuilding its board, but even with the capacity to directly oversee community coalescence and crowdfunding for Drupal and other software projects, that is not its main focus, so we would still want the outside committee."
I understand the need, but if we're following the same model as DOLI, does that mean the steering committee is a separate entity (DOLI is/was an unincorporated not-for-profit organization) or is it still part of PWGD? Also, if following the same model as DOLI, does that mean that someone on the VU board would be on the steering committee?
On the latter it would seem essential for Ben, as the visionary behind the whole effort helping guide the ship. Main question is who owns the ship.
@Ben - can you clarify the org structure and the role of PWGD and you?
@Eric - do you have interest/capacity to help steer and/or head up the drafting of the new agreement?
